The Jo Ellen Ammons Fieldhouse is a new facility designed to support Mars Hill University’s NCAA Division II athletic program. The project is currently under construction and will be completed in Spring of 2019.

Mars Hill University is committed to the intellectual, spiritual, and personal growth of its students. They wanted their new field house to provide locker rooms and coaches’ offices, and also to serve as a fellowship space for students, coaches, trainers, tutors, faculty, visiting alumni, and parents.

The new building provides football and women’s socker locker rooms, a large physical training area, a hydro-therapy room, classrooms and offices. The second floor also includes a seating area and kitchen for informal student gatherings, a large covered balcony overlooking the playing field, and offices and storage rooms for the university’s tennis and golf teams. Adjacent to the Field House, we also designed a second building with a new ticket booth, stadium entrance, and concession stand, and additional toilet facilities for use during university sporting events.
